Three-phase Combination Type Lightning Arrester is a new type to protect electric appliance from the damage of overvoltage. The characteristic is that it limits the overvoltage between phase and earth; at the same time, it effectively limits overvoltage between phases. Common lightning arrester can’t do it.

It’s widely used to protect vacuum switch, rotary motor, parallel capacitor, power plant and substation and etc.

It has been over ten years since such combination type surge arrester started to run. The protective role of one combination type lightning arrester plays equals to that of 6 common surge arresters. Because it adopts high capacity ZnO varistor as main components, its volt-ampere characteristics and capacity of adsorbing overvoltage are both good. 5. Maximum wind speed is less than 35m/s.
6. Earthquake intensity level is 7 or below 7.

Using Selection:

Three-phase Combination type Surge arrester divides into two types: gapless type & parallel series clearance/gaps. The difference is that as long as there is overvoltage in the system, gapless type surge arrester can effectively absorb and limit it; while for the parallel series clearance surge arrester, only when the overvoltage of the system is big enough to make discharge, it acts.
